Make A Bird Feeder

It is the need of the hour to inculcate a 'sense of caring and sharing' among children as the struggle for survival has become a major concern in the thick of this pandemic. To instil such sentiments in our little ones, Delhi Public School ,Jhakri conducted an online activity 'Make A Bird Feeder ' for the students of Classes III to V on 12/05/2021 ,so that the children can contribute their share in feeding the birds in their surroundings and learn the importance of helping each living creature in fulfilling its need for survival. This activity also helped in introducing the interesting process of recycling the waste material which can be easily used for making attractive bird feeders. Children showed immense zeal in making variety of beautiful bird feeders with reusable waste material and displayed their active role in promoting love and compassion.

Hindi Poem Recitation Competition

Reading through books is not the only medium of learning but fun filled activities and competitions enhance the learning process." Keeping this in mind Online Hindi Poem Recitation Competition was organised for the students of classes Nursery to ll on 30/4/21.Such competitions help the child to develop confidence, improve vocabulary and also help the students to get rid of stage fear. Students touched different areas such as nature ,patriotism, courage ,mother's love, trees and even coronavirus with their impressive poems. It was a very enriching experience for the participants.

Online English Poem Recitation Competition

Online English Poem Recitation competition was organized in Delhi Public School,Jhakri for Classes (III to V) on 24/4/21.Children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence through Online English Poem Recitation Competition.
Children participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The children chose a variety of topics for their recitation like funny poem on animals, friendship, wildlife, save the environment , Corona , cleanliness, and enthusiasm.
The competition was thoroughly enjoyed by the students and the judges appreciated their sincere efforts.

Mothers Day Card Making Activity

God could not be every where so He created mothers. A mother plays the most important role in the life of a child as she puts in all the efforts to help him/her refine their skills and carve their personalities. To honour the motherhood , tiny tots of classes Nursery to II celebrated Mother's Day on 08/05/21 by making beautiful cards for their mothers . In order to show love ,respect and appreciation to all the mothers, kids showed their love and creativity through hand made cards . Cards and chocolates were gifted to the mothers to strengthen the bond. To capture this moment into a life long memory , every child was assigned the task of doing a small photo session with their mothers and share it in the class .The activity aimed at promoting creativity and self-expression among students. Students enjoyed the activity. Overall it was a fun activity.

Making a pen holder CLASSES III To V

Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. We can utilize a lot of the waste lying around at home to make some fun objects. It is really easy to make a pen stand and the most fun part is the decoration as it has no definite rules, it’s all about the imagination and creativity. All the students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
